Ingredients

1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Crushed peppermint candies or candy canes for garnish

Instructions

Crush the Oreos: Start by placing the Oreo cookies in a food processor. Pulse until they are finely ground into crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, you can also place them in a zip-lock bag and crush them using a rolling pin.

Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo crumbs, softened cream cheese, and peppermint extract. Mix until everything is well combined and has a dough-like consistency.

Form the Truffles: Using your hands, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat this process until all of the mixture is used, placing the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Chill the Truffles: Place the baking sheet with the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, allowing them to firm up.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Coat the Truffles: Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Garnish: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies or candy canes on top of each truffle for an extra festive touch.

Final Chill: Allow the truffles to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to let the chocolate set. Then, refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes until fully hardened.

Serve & Enjoy: Once set, serve your No-Bake Peppermint Oreo Truffles on a festive platter and enjoy the delicious minty flavor!
