Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed.

In a separate bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.

Dip each chicken breast first into the melted butter, ensuring it's well-coated, then press it into the breadcrumb mixture, covering both sides. Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet.

Once all the chicken breasts are prepared, drizzle any remaining butter over them for extra moisture and flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.

To ensure the chicken is cooked, use a meat thermometer; it should read 165°F (75°C) in the center.

Once done, remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
