Ingredients

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar

4 cups cold water

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon pink food coloring (optional for a vibrant hue)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar.

Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved completely, about 3-5 minutes.

Remove from heat and add the cold water to the lemon-sugar mixture. Stir well until combined. Allow to cool to room temperature.

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.

If using, add the pink food coloring to the whipped cream and gently fold it in until the color is evenly distributed.

To serve, fill glasses halfway with the pink lemonade mixture.

Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon on the rim of each glass.
