Ingredients

1 cup rice paper sheets

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Vegan barbecue sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. This will be your seasoning mix.

Cut Rice Paper: Use kitchen scissors to cut rice paper sheets into small pieces (about 2-3 inches). You can stack and cut multiple sheets at once to save time.

Moisten Sheets: Fill a shallow dish with warm water and gently dip each cut piece of rice paper for about 5-10 seconds, just until softened but not too mushy. Shake off excess water.

Seasoning Step: Transfer the moistened rice paper onto a clean drying surface (like a cutting board). Brush lightly on one side with olive oil, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the top of each piece.

Bake: Place the seasoned rice paper pieces on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Cool Down: Once out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes; they will become even crispier as they cool.

Serve: Enjoy your Vegan Pork Rinds Snack immediately with vegan barbecue sauce for dipping!
