Ingredients

4 large tortillas

1 cup sliced ham

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Assemble the Tortilla Pockets: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon about ¼ of the filling mixture onto one half of the tortilla, leaving a bit of space around the edges. Fold the tortilla over to create a pocket, pressing down the edges to seal it. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Toast the Pockets: Once the oil is hot, carefully place one tortilla pocket in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Flip it over and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining pockets.

Serve: Once all tortilla pockets are toasted, cut them in half diagonally for easy handling. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives, if desired. Serve warm alongside your favorite dipping sauces, like salsa or ranch dressing.
