2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

8 oz fettuccine pasta

Fresh basil, for garnish

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.

      Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

        Make it Creamy: Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

          Cook the Pasta: Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
