Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any color)

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 12x16 inches.

In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.

Spread the cheese and meat mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border of about 1 inch around the edges.

Carefully roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, sealing the edges by pinching the dough.

Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet. Place seam-side down.

Brush the top of the Stromboli with the beaten egg, and poke a few holes in the top to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
