Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup whole milk

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream, for topping

Fresh strawberries, for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, add the halved strawberries and pulse until they are in a chunky puree. Reserve a few pieces for garnish later.

Add the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract to the blender.

Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if it's too thick or more ice cream for thickness.

Taste the milkshake and add more honey or syrup if you prefer a sweeter milkshake. Blend again for a few seconds.

Pour the milkshake into tall glasses, leaving some space at the top for whipped cream.

Top each milkshake with a generous dollop of whipped cream and garnish with the reserved strawberry pieces.
