Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced

4 cups cold water

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2-4 tablespoons agave syrup (to taste)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and diced mango. Blend until smooth, adding 2 cups of the cold water as needed to help the blending process.

Strain the blended fruit mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spatula to press down to extract all the juice, leaving the pulp behind.

Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to the pitcher. Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more agave syrup if desired.

Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 30 minutes to chill and allow the flavors to meld.

When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled agua fresca over the ice.
