Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Add the strawberry puree, egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl, and mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the white chocolate chips to the cookie dough until they are evenly distributed.

Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may appear soft but will set as they cool.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the cookies lightly with powdered sugar for a charming finish.
