Ingredients

For the Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup warm milk (110°F)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make the Filling: While the dough is rising, prepare the cream cheese filling. In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.

Assemble the Rolls: Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 1/4 inch thick). Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Roll and Cut: Starting from one end, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased baking dish, leaving some space between each roll.

Second Rise: Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes or until they puff up.

Bake the Rolls: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.

Prepare the Glaze: While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.

Glaze and Serve: Once the rolls are done baking, let them cool slightly and then drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls. Serve warm and enjoy!
