Ingredients

1 large sourdough loaf

1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded

1/2 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the top off the sourdough loaf to create a lid and carefully hollow out the inside, leaving about an inch of bread around the edges. Set aside the removed bread for later use.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, green onions, mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.

Spoon the seafood mixture into the hollowed-out sourdough loaf, packing it tightly.

Replace the lid on the loaf and drizzle the top with olive oil.

Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through.

Carefully remove the foil, allow it to cool for a minute, then serve warm, tearing pieces of the soft bread to scoop up the savory seafood filling.
