Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for your desired doneness). Remove steaks from skillet and let them rest on a plate, covered loosely with aluminum foil.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes). Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in Cajun seasoning, then pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Add Cream and Tomatoes: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and diced tomatoes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce is thickened and creamy.

Combine and Serve: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them gently in the sauce until fully coated. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Plating: Slice the steaks against the grain and serve topped with the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
