Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 large egg

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Green onions for garnish

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, egg, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, ginger, salt, and black pepper.

Mix all the ingredients with your hands until just combined; be careful not to overmix.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Using your hands, form the chicken mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball (approximately 2 inches in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle sesame oil over the meatballs to add extra flavor and moisture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the meatballs are golden brown.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare a serving sauce by mixing 3 tablespoons of Sriracha with 1 tablespoon of honey (optional for a touch of sweetness).

Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and drizzle with additional Sriracha sauce or the prepared sauce.

Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of cilantro for presentation.
