Ingredients

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

2 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Spice Rub: In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin for maximum flavor.

Sear the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Flip the chicken and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).

Make the Sauce: While the chicken is baking, combine the hot sauce and melted butter in a small bowl. Mix well to create a smooth sauce.

Drizzle the Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the hot sauce mixture over the chicken thighs, making sure to coat them nicely.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve hot with your choice of sides, such as celery sticks, carrots, or rice.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the thighs on a large platter, garnished with additional parsley. Place a small bowl of extra sauce on the side for dipping.
