8 mozzarella sticks

8 slices of bacon

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 large egg, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

2 tablespoons Nashville hot chicken seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Cooking oil for frying

Prepare the Mozzarella Sticks: Start by placing the mozzarella sticks in the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour. This helps them maintain their shape while frying.

    Wrap in Bacon: Once the cheese is firm, wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, starting from one end and spiraling it around to the other. Ensure the ends of the bacon overlap slightly to keep the cheese sealed. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

      Set Up the Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading station. In the first bowl, add flour. In the second bowl, place the beaten egg. In the third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Nashville hot chicken seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

        Bread the Mozzarella Sticks: Take each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick and first coat it in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten egg, then roll it in the spicy breadcrumb mixture until well coated. Repeat this process for all the sticks.
