Ingredients

8 oz smoked Gouda cheese, shredded

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 6-8 strips)

1/2 cup green onions, chopped (reserve a few for garnish)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1/4 cup chopped jalapeños for a spicy kick

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Cheeses: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the shredded smoked Gouda cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

Add Flavor: Fold in the crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and if using, chopped jalapeños. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Season: Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as needed, keeping in mind that the bacon can add saltiness.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the dip into a baking dish (about 8x8 inches or similar size), spreading it evenly.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Top with reserved green onions for garnish before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm with tortilla chips, sliced baguette, or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.
