1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

8 ounces tortilla chips

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 jalapeño, sliced

1/2 cup pico de gallo

1/4 cup sour cream

Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

1 avocado, diced for topping

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble Nachos: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

Layer Ingredients: Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the chips, followed by the cooked shrimp, black beans, jalapeño slices, and remaining cheese.

Bake Nachos: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, top the nachos with pico de gallo, diced avocado, and a drizzle of sour cream. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the nachos for added zest.
