Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Add the cubed steak and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes to infuse the flavors.

Prepare the Shrimp: In another bowl, toss the shrimp with salt and pepper. Set aside to allow the seasoning to absorb while the steak marinates.

Cook the Steak: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade (reserve the marinade for later) and add it to the skillet. Sear the steak bites for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet. Pour in the reserved marinade and toss everything together. Cook for a further 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: Serve the savory steak bites and shrimp over a bed of cooked rice or quinoa.

Garnish: Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and sesame seeds before serving for an added touch.
