Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until frothy.

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Cook the Salmon: Gently place the salmon cubes in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing them to brown slightly.

Add Lemon and Thyme: Carefully flip the salmon pieces using a spatula, and pour the lemon juice and zest over them. Sprinkle thyme on top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the salmon is opaque and cooked to your liking.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the salmon bites to a serving dish, drizzle with the pan juices and sprinkle with fresh parsley for color and freshness.
