Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, grated

2 green onions, sliced

1 red bell pepper, julienned

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with salt, black pepper, cornstarch, and flour. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly with the mixture.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and slightly crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, and green onions. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the red bell pepper and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until tender-crisp.

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture, add crushed red pepper flakes if using and toss everything together for another minute on the heat.

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the shrimp over a bed of steamed jasmine rice or alongside stir-fried vegetables, garnished with fresh cilantro and additional sliced green onions.
