1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (use spicy or mild, based on preference)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, combine the cooked crumbled sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined into a creamy mixture.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on the prepared baking sheet.

        Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

          Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent towards the pointed tip, ensuring the filling is tucked inside. Curving the ends slightly will create a classic crescent shape.

            Repeat until all dough and filling are used.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed up.

                Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

                  If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
