1 pound breakfast sausage (bulk or casings removed)

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (such as Rotel), drained

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking spray or additional oil for greasing

Fresh cilantro or green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.

    Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Drain any excess fat.

      Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, drained diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

        Roll Out Crescents: Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it on a clean surface. Separate it into individual triangles according to the perforations.
