Ingredients

1 cup fresh raspberries

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Optional: mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until it’s smooth and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

On each triangle, place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture near the wide end.

Top the cream cheese with a single raspberry and gently fold the narrow end of the dough over the filling, then roll it up to form a bite-sized pastry.

Place the filled bites seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk to create the egg wash. Brush it onto the tops of the pastries for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the bites are golden brown and flaky.

Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
