Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Steak: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers, sautéing until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add the sliced ribeye steak, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and half of the provolone cheese. Mix until smooth.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Assemble the Breadsticks: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch of space from the edges. Layer the cooked steak and vegetable mixture on top and sprinkle the remaining provolone cheese over it.

Form the Breadsticks: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams to seal. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a shiny finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley for freshness. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 12 breadsticks
