Ingredients

8 oz. penne pasta

1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell pepper, cooking until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for another minute until fragrant.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced sirloin steak. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Make the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the steak and vegetables. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Cheese: Gradually stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine: Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to coat the pasta in the cheese sauce and combining all ingredients evenly.

Serve: Remove from heat and let the pasta sit for a minute. Garnish with chopped parsley for freshness.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the Philly Cheesesteak Pasta in individual bowls, drizzling a bit of extra cream sauce over the top and garnishing with additional shredded provolone and fresh parsley for an appealing look.
