Ingredients

2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries

1 pound steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Fries: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the cut fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly and spread them out in a single layer.

Bake the Fries: Bake the fries in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Cook the Steak: While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil and the thinly sliced steak. Season with some salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they soften and caramelize slightly.

Combine Ingredients: Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and place them on a large serving platter. Top the fries with the cooked steak, sautéed bell pepper, and onion mixture, then sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese generously over the top.

Melt the Cheese: Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately while hot!
