Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate kisses, unwrapped (approx. 24)

1/3 cup granulated sugar, for rolling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and well combined.

Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Form the Bars: Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Add Kisses: Remove the bars from the oven and immediately press the chocolate kisses into the center of each square, spaced evenly.

Cool Down: Allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack for about 10 minutes, then carefully lift them out using the parchment paper and allow them to cool completely on the rack before cutting.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 24

                    - Presentation Tips: Once cooled, cut the bars into squares and arrange them on a festive platter. Drizzle with melted chocolate or sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for added flair.
