Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup powdered sugar

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1 cup chocolate fudge sauce

Maraschino cherries and chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer. Place in the freezer to set for about 10 minutes.

Make the cream cheese layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped cream until combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.

Layer with banana and pineapple: Evenly distribute the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer. Follow with an even spread of the drained crushed pineapple.

Add nuts and fudge: Optionally sprinkle chopped walnuts over the pineapple layer. Drizzle a generous amount of chocolate fudge sauce on top (reserve some for serving later).

Finish with whipped cream: Spread the remaining whipped cream over the top, smoothing it out evenly.

Chill and garnish: Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to firm up.

Serve with toppings: Before serving, drizzle additional chocolate fudge sauce on top and garnish with maraschino cherries and any remaining chopped nuts.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 30 minutes (includes chilling time) | Servings: 12-15 slices
