4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 lemon, zest and juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup chicken broth

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with a little butter or cooking spray.

    In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from the heat and stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

      Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish, skin-side up. Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.

        Carefully pour the chicken broth around the chicken in the baking dish, ensuring the skin remains above the liquid.

          Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is golden brown and crispy.

            Once cooked, remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon some of the buttery broth over the chicken for extra flavor and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
