Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Garlic and Tomatoes: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix well until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine Tortellini and Sauce: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Plate the tortellini and garnish with fresh basil leaves. You can sprinkle extra Parmesan on top if desired. Enjoy!
