Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 lb ground pork

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

2 green onions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 egg, lightly beaten

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)

For the Spicy Mayo Dip:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger.

Season the Mixture: Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the meat mixture. Mix until just combined; do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.

Form Meatballs: Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly browned.

Make the Spicy Mayo Dip: While the meatballs are baking, in a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, sesame oil, and honey. Stir until smooth and well combined. Adjust Sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.

Serve: Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve them on a platter with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
