Ingredients

1 package of King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 rolls)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup shredded coconut, toasted

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Optional: extra coconut and macadamia nuts for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and toasted coconut. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Gently fold in the crushed pineapple and chopped macadamia nuts into the cream cheese mixture.

Remove the King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls from their package and separate them carefully. Flatten each roll slightly using your fingers.

Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each flattened roll. Fold the sides over to form a pocket, pinching the ends to seal well.

Place the filled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake the Danish in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown.

Once out of the oven, allow the Danish to cool slightly before serving.

Optional: Sprinkle additional toasted coconut and chopped macadamia nuts on top for added flavor and decoration.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12 Danish

                        - Presentation Tips: Arrange the Danish on a vibrant platter and garnished with slices of fresh pineapple and a scattering of macadamia nuts for a tropical touch!
