Kinder French Toast Rolls

Ingredients

8 slices of bread (preferably thick, like brioche or Texas toast)

4 Kinder chocolate bars (or similar chocolate)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup flour (for dusting)

1/4 cup unsalted butter (for frying)

Powdered sugar (for serving)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Rolls: Begin by trimming the crusts off each slice of bread. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice gently; this will make rolling them easier.

Assemble the Rolls: Place a piece of Kinder chocolate at one end of the flattened bread. Roll the bread tightly around the chocolate, tucking in the sides as you go to seal it. Repeat until you have rolled all the chocolate in the bread slices.

Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Preheat the Pan: Place a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter, letting it melt and coat the surface.

Dip and Cook: Dredge each roll in the egg mixture, ensuring they’re well-coated but not overly soggy. Place the rolls seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Finish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the rolls from the pan and place them on a plate. Dust generously with powdered sugar and drizzle with maple syrup. Serve warm and enjoy your gooey chocolate-filled delight!
