Ingredients

1 lb ground pork (or chicken/turkey)

4 cups coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)

2 green onions, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free option)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Meat: In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the ground pork. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).

Incorporate Veggies: Add the coleslaw mix to the skillet and toss until the cabbage wilts slightly, about 3-4 minutes.

Flavor It Up: Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well, allowing the flavors to meld together for another 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in the green onions. Serve hot and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
