Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled, depending on heat preference)

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup crushed tortilla chips (for coating)

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, diced jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Use a hand mixer or a wooden spoon to blend the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.

Once mixed, shape the cheese mixture into a ball, wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap for best results while refrigerating.

Place the wrapped cheese ball in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.

After chill time, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the crushed tortilla chips until fully coated.

Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, if desired, for a touch of color.

Serve the cheese ball on a platter with assorted crackers, veggie sticks, or additional tortilla chips for dipping.
