Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1/4 cup Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (non-alcoholic)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

4 burger buns (toasted)

1 cup crispy bacon, chopped

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Pickles

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.

Divide the burger mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indent in the center of each patty (this helps them cook evenly).

Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip them and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium doneness, or until your desired level of doneness is reached.

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and close the lid (or cover with a pan) to melt the cheese.

Remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

Assemble the burgers: Start with the toasted bun base, add a lettuce leaf, then place the cheesy burger patty, top it with the crispy bacon, tomato slices, and pickles. Finish with the top bun.

Serve immediately with additional BBQ sauce on the side if desired.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4 burgers

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve on a wooden board with a side of sweet potato fries or coleslaw for color and variety. Add your favorite dipping sauces in small ramekins for an inviting touch.
