2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm water (110°F or 43°C)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, thyme blend)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and Italian seasoning.

      Once the yeast mixture is ready, add it to the flour mixture along with olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

        Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

          Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

            Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

              Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.

                Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into strips (about 1 inch wide).

                  Twist each strip and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

                    Brush the strips with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder over them.

                      Top generously with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.

                        Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

                          Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
