Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 14x10 inches.

In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Layer the sliced pepperoni over the cheese mixture, distributing it evenly.

Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll the dough into a log shape, tucking the filling in as you go to avoid spillage. Pinch the seams and ends to seal.

Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg and drizzle with olive oil.

Using a sharp knife, make a few diagonal slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Once baked, allow the Stromboli to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing it into generous pieces. Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                        - Presentation Tips: Arrange sliced Stromboli on a wooden board with a small bowl of warm marinara sauce in the center. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color.
