Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lime zest

1 teaspoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, lime zest, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Arrange the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Brush the fillets generously with the honey-lime garlic butter sauce, reserving some for later.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. If desired, you can broil it for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end for a golden crust.

Baste and Serve: Halfway through baking, baste the salmon with the reserved sauce for added flavor. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
