Ingredients

1 cup shredded cabbage

1 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup bean sprouts

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 pack of egg roll wrappers (10-12 wrappers)

Vegetable oil for frying

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the vegetable mixture, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well to ensure all vegetables are evenly coated.

Take an egg roll wrapper and place it on a flat surface, positioned like a diamond (point facing you).

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling into the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll it up tightly to seal. Use a little water on the edge of the wrapper to help it stick. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Carefully add the egg rolls (working in batches) and fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even coloring.

Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 10-12 egg rolls

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Garnish with sesame seeds and a sprig of cilantro for a vibrant touch.
