Ingredients

6 large buttery croissants, chopped into bite-sized pieces

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In the prepared dish, layer half of the chopped croissant pieces evenly across the bottom.

Sprinkle half of the diced ham over the croissants, followed by half of both the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Repeat the layers with the remaining croissant pieces, ham, and cheeses.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered croissant, ham, and cheese components in the baking dish, allowing it to soak in for about 10 minutes.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and the eggs are set.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color and flavor.
