Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced ham

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup milk

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced ham into the dry mixture until they are evenly distributed.

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and milk. Mix well to ensure they are fully combined.

Pour the milk and butter mixture into the dry ingredients. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, mix until just combined. The dough will be slightly sticky.

Spoon the biscuit dough into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly but without smoothing it completely.

Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 35 mins | Servings: 8-10

                    - Presentation Tips: Cut the biscuits into squares and serve warm, garnished with a sprinkle of additional cheese or fresh herbs like chives for a pop of color. Enjoy with a side of honey mustard for dipping!
