Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 whole wheat tortillas

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, diced

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup ranch dressing

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the chicken breasts.

Place the seasoned chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and allow it to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing it into strips.

Warm the whole wheat tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.

Lay the tortillas on a flat surface. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of ranch dressing on each tortilla.

Layer the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, grilled chicken strips, and shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the tortillas.

Starting at one end, carefully roll the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling, tucking in the sides as you go.

Slice each wrap in half diagonally and arrange them on a plate.

If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro for a pop of color and flavor.
