4 cod fillets (approximately 6 oz each)

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 green onion, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.

    Marinate the Cod: Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
