Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, plain yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Add the cubed chicken breast to the marinade and mix well, ensuring each piece is coated evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color. Ensure that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
