Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons dried oregano

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt to taste

Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a floured surface, divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope about 6-8 inches long.

Tie each rope into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave some space between them.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the knots, ensuring they’re well coated.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the knots, followed by the chopped parsley.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.

Once baked, remove from the oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 knots
