Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried parsley

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Cut the dough into 1-inch strips.

Knot the Dough: Take each strip, and tie it into a knot. Place the knots onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and salt. Mix well.

Brush the Knots: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot, ensuring they are well coated.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Add Parmesan: Remove the knots from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top while they are still hot.

Garnish and Serve: Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
