Ingredients

8 oz. lightning noodles (or thin rice noodles)

1 lb. sirloin steak, sliced thinly

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 red bell pepper, sliced

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lightning noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Prepare Steak: Season the sliced sirloin steak with salt, pepper, and half the chili flakes.

Heat Butter: In a large skillet or wok, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once bubbling, add the steak in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes without moving, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, then add the broccoli and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine Ingredients: Return the steak to the skillet. Add the cooked lightning noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and the remaining chili flakes. Toss everything together, ensuring the noodles are well coated with the garlic butter sauce and heated through (about 2-3 minutes).

Finish and Serve: Turn off the heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary. If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
