Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Pork Chops: Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop a golden-brown crust and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove the chops from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and slightly golden, being careful not to burn it.

Baste the Chops: Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through and marry the flavors.

Rest and Serve: Transfer the pork chops to a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the top. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of flavor.

              Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Servings: 4

                - Presentation Tips: Arrange the pork chops on a platter and garnish with fresh herbs or lemon slices for a vibrant look. Serve alongside roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
